In the summer they have outdoor seating overlooking the river. Beautiful and relaxing.
What a get this place is. Would go back many times if I am in the area again.

Call before dining here as their hours are always changing.
During the winter ski season they usually open after 5pm. They have a nice pub menu. The mac and cheese is great as well as all of their burgers. If you are looking for non pub food, you can also ask to see their Hungry Trout menu from their sister restaurant upstairs. This menu features fancier items like roasted quail. Some of the items on the Pub menu are also on the Hungry Trout menu and cost a dollar more (the wedge salad is a great example). So make sure you look at both menus before ordering.
It's like the only restaurant within 30 minutes of here that's open past 8. But it's good! Solid burgers and good beer selection. Pro tip: downstairs is better than upstairs
Some of the best pub food I have ever had on the McDougall's menu. You can mix and match between the menus. The outdoor patio on the river is outstanding. I highly recommend the river view seats in the summer. We were there with our kids and it was so nice being able to eat an adult meal while they also enjoyed themselves.
I had the fish of the day and it was incredible.
Only complaint is they haven’t really updated the menu in four years. Pretty much has been the same.

My reservations were for the adjacent sister restaurant, but we were hungry and the pub kitchen was already open. I found the atmosphere to be more casual but still quite nice. The staff offered great customer service. They even cancelled the other reservation for us after we discovered that most menu items from the sister restaurant were also available here. We ordered from both menus and had zero regrets. The food here from the burgers to the salads, to the stuffed pork chops and desserts are all simply perfect. Highly recommended.
